Many Food Carts are, in my experience, cash only. Fiji Indian Curry does take credit cards!
Time for the best part! Pictures and comments about what I actually ate.
Fiji Indian Curry features Curry Stir Fry and Curry Fried Rice. both of those dishes are available in Chicken, Pork, Beef and Shrimp. They also feature three Vegan dishes and the occasional special.
Beef Curry Stir Fry
Beef, broccoli and carrots cooked in cocunut milk, tomato, ginger, garlic, yellow onion, and their special cart made Fijian curry sauce. This dish is so good! Not many places that serve curry, serve curry and beef. It is such a good combination!
Pumpkin cooked with ginger, garlic, yellow onion, and their special cart made Fijian curry sauce. this Vegan dish is served over basmati rice and is accompanied by Dal and spicy pickled carrots. I loved this dish!!!! Absolutely amazing.
This dish comes with two Rotis both filled with a very tasty filling made up of green beans, potatoes, ginger, garlic, yellow onion and Indian spices. The picture above, on the right, shows one Roti that has been rolled up, and one that had yet to be rolled up. You get quite a bit of food with this dish.
Crispy deliciousness! nuff said.
Spinach Rou Rou (Pronounced Row Row)
Yet another vegan dish from from Fiji Indian Curry that I adore.
Many of the dishes at Fiji Indian Curry are accompanied by this wonderful chutney. Tomato, cilantro, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper. Elegant in it’s simplicity.
When it is cold out get yourself some Fijian Chai. My advice order it “island style” – a little milk and a little sugar. When it is warm out, grab yourself a glass of Masala tea.
Both of these beverages are perfectly flavored.
