Food Cart Dreams Come True!

Business Partners, Annebelle Eastling and Pierre Prevost started Pulehu Pizza in Maui in 2009. At that time, they ran a pop-up business that did not have permanent location.

In 2012 they moved to Portland, Oregon to open up the Pulehu Pizza Food Cart with the hope and dream that someday they would be able to make the leap to a brick and mortar restaurant.

Prior to 2012, Annebelle and Pierre visited Portland a number times and they had fallen in love with it! They loved the people, the weather, the food scene and the Timbers! Portland was the place for them to pursue their culinary dreams!

Their first cart opened in 2012 and it was, and still is, located at 432 SW 3rd Ave, Portland, Oregon. Current plans are to continue to operate this Food Cart.

In 2015, Annebelle and Pierre opened a second Food Cart in the former Burrasca Food Cart located at the Pod 28 Food Cart Pod at 28th and Ankeny. Burrasca went brick and mortar themselves this past spring. Annebelle and Pierre closed their Pod 28 Pulehu Pizza Food Cart a few weeks ago to be able to focus on getting their restaurant open.

Great Pizza! Great People!

I love the pizza at Pulehu and I cannot wait to be able to visit their new brick and mortar location and enjoy more of it!!

I am also big fans of Annebelle and Pierre! They have a done great job of growing their brand and I love it when hard working culinary entrepreneurs have success. I look forward to attending the Feb 20th, 2016 Grand Opening Celebration of Pulehu Pizza at The Lumberyard!
